PC not booting up , where is the problem

when your PC is not booting up , there no need to panic try following below steps

first check power supply and turn it on( if not done already )

press the start button of your cabinet ,

if nothing happens there , means no Activity , processor doesnt start up .

you have to recheck your power supply , to be sure your motherboard is getting power supply , fetch a screwdriver and open up the case , most of the boards have a LED which glows when power is switched on , if your board have that chek it out but if your board Doesnt have one , turn on your PC again . if still there is no sign and processor doesnt starts and chasis fan not working at all , you are missing with your power supply .

The first step here would be to check the connections that are coming from power supply to the motherboard . unplug them and reconnect do it with utmost care so as to avoid any possible damage . after unplugging check for any loose wires . and plug the wires again

now press the power button again . if the processor works and you get display on your computer , there were some loose wires in your connection. but if still no movement in chasis fan . you have to check your power supply.

best way is to fetch a PCI card and check it , if you dont have one fetch power supply of your friend
